Please call between 15:00 and 17:00 to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
Test results are returned to the practice and the time it takes can vary according to the type of test. Results can not be disclosed by non clinical staff, until they have been reviewed by a doctor or nurse. If your result has not been seen by your health professional and has been returned to us when you enquire, please allow a further 2 working days for your doctor or nurse to review it unless it was marked as urgent at the time of the request.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.
If your result comes back and medication or further treatment is needed a member of staff will contact you.
